Project Updates

The next phase of works for the Student and Sport Amenity Project has commenced.

Please note that from Wednesday 10th April for a period of several months a diversion will be in place on the pedestrian & cycle route from the UCD Nexus/Beech Hill Gate at Founders District (Belfield Office Park) running alongside the current construction zone, UCD Bowl and ending at the rear of the National Hockey Stadium to allow works taking place in this area to proceed.

The primary diversion will be in place via the National Hockey Stadium & Sports Centre, 5 a-side soccer pitches and Newstead.

Wayfinding signage will be in place throughout the diversion route via the National Hockey Stadium & Sports Centre in both directions to guide users. For this phase of works vehicular access on the campus ring road alongside the construction zones will be maintained at all times.
