Alumni Awards 2021
The College of Health and Agricultural Sciences is very proud that its Alumni Award this year goes to Dr Mike Ryan, Executive Director at the World Health Organisation.
Subsequent to medical training at NUIG, Dr Ryan completed the MPH programme at UCD School's of Public Health and Population Science, as it was then known. Dr Ryan has been at the forefront of managing acute risks to global health for nearly 25 years and played a key leadership role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
