On May 16, 2023, Professor Patricia Maguire spoke on RTE Prime Time about making birth safer with her AI_PREMie project.
Prof Maguire explains that her research "merges artificial intelligence, biomedical science and also the best clinical science, bringing that all that information together and giving it to the clinician so that we can, if you like, augment their intelligence at a particular time so that they can make hopefully better decisions and save the lives of mothers and babies."
