QQI-FET progression to Nursing & Midwifery

The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is located in a custom-built Health Sciences Building on the main campus at Belfield. Nursing as a discipline has greatly expanded its role in healthcare delivery, health services management, health research and social policy. UCD has the largest School of Nursing and Midwifery in Ireland and has pioneered the promotion and development of nursing education in an academic setting. This programme is offered in partnership with the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, National Maternity Hospital, Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, St John of God Hospital, St Michael’s Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital.

Please note: Applicants who have previously failed to meet programme requirements in any Nursing or Midwifery programme or have any issues which would affect their registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
