Teaming up with Northumbria University

Research and Policy Officer Kathie Orr teamed up with Jean Moore of Northumbria University to present at the Advance HE Educational Excellence Symposia 2025. Entitled 'A Badge without Barriers', the presentation showcased the HEA National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning Universal Design Beyond the Classroom Badge Open Education resources (developed by UCD and AHEAD) and how Northumbria University has contextualised these with great success for use in a UK Higher Education setting.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the resources available and reflect on how the approach could be used in their own institutions.
