Open Learning for Audit

CG14 Open Learning for Audit - Applications will open in July

CG14 Open Learning audit modules are for you if you want an inspiring way to stay engaged, follow your curiosity, and enjoy the benefits of structured, university-level learning in a welcoming and inclusive environment, without assessment or exams. You can choose to audit for personal enrichment, to build confidence or explore university study before making a bigger commitment.

We are hosting an in-person info session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday 22 July - use (opens in a new window)this form to sign up.

Open Learning for Audit modules cost €400 each.

We are using UCD’s new application system this year. If you encounter any issues submitting your application, please let us know by contacting (opens in a new window)all@ucd.ie.

We will be offering drop-in sessions for anyone who needs help with submitting their application: 

Tuesday 22 July - 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Tuesday 29 July - 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Thursday 31 July - 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Wednesday 6 August - 11:00-12:00 p.m.

Please note that module selection will open at the end of August or the beginning of September 2025. You will receive a notification when it is time to choose your modules. There will not be an option to select your module when you submit your application for your Open Learning programme.

If you are accepting an Open Learning for Audit place in 2025/26, you will be required to pay a €100 deposit at the time that you accept your offer.
