There are 2 pathways to full-time degrees in Arts and Humanities through Open Learning. Both DN520 BA Joint Honours and DN530 BA Humanities offer a huge range of subjects to study, so browse your options below for more information, and click on the links to apply.
DN520 BA Joint Honours
This 3-year degree provides an excellent foundation for a range of further study and career options. Joint Honours students choose from a portfolio of 25 different subjects which can be studied in different combinations. Popular combinations include English and History, Film Studies and French, and Music and Irish.
There are 10 places for Open Learners to move to a full-time degree in 2026/27.
Requirements:
- You must complete 6 modules from our offering.
- Achieve a minimum GPA of 2.6

DN530 BA Humanities
This is an innovative, interdisciplinary and multi-subject degree that offers 15 defined courses. It provides coherence and depth to student learning within a carefully structured framework of related subjects. The Humanities degree has the added benefit of offering you ways to diversify your skills.
There are 10 places for Open Learners to move to a full-time degree in 2026/27.
