Disability Support

The Disability Support team can provide advice and support to UCD students with permanent and long-term disabilities. Students must provide verified documentation and attend a short meeting called a Needs Assessment to receive in-class and exam support.

Location: UCD Access and Lifelong Learning Centre (Level 1 opposite the James Joyce Library).

Contact:  You may contact us via email on (opens in a new window)disability@ucd.ie and we also offer a drop-in hour for students Monday to Thursday from 11am to 12pm during teaching term if you would like to meet a member of our team.

We would encourage you to contact us to arrange an appointment before Week 6 (17th October 2025) to guarantee your supports are in place on time for your end-of-trimester exams.

How to Arrange Disability Support

All UCD students can access disability support provided they have verified documentation. We recommend that you apply for support as soon as possible after starting your course or receiving a diagnosis.
