In-Class Support Information for Students with a Disability

The aim of in-class support is to reduce any challenges you may face, so that you can fully participate in your lectures, labs and other classroom activities. You will discuss any recommended support during your Needs Assessment with a team member of the Disability Support.

In-class support is based on individual needs and is determined with each student when they attend a Needs Assessment appointment. Students are encouraged to review their accommodations regularly as the support available is continually reviewed and updated. However, it should be noted that accommodations cannot be applied retrospectively.

Please email us at (opens in a new window)disability@ucd.ie if you require further information on possible accommodations for your programme.
