CHAS Graduate Research Student Symposium
The College of Health and Agricultural Sciences was delighted to host the CHAS Graduate Research Student Symposium on Tuesday 29th April 2025. Research students from across CHAS were invited to submit abstracts in advance, and on the day we saw posters and presentations from all five of the college’s constituent Schools.
The symposium took place in the O’Brien Science Centre, and was a terrific showcase of the varied, interdisciplinary student research across the college. The event was opened by CHAS Vice Principal for Research and Innovation, Professor Lorraine Brennan. Following an afternoon of presentations and awarded prizes to the winners. Professor Brennan commented
The event was a wonderful showcase of the excellent research work currently ongoing in the College. On the day the combination of oral and poster presentations highlights the diverse topics covered and offers a unique opportunity to connect across the disciplines.
