Nanoparticle and Extracellular Vesicle Characterisation

Our facility offers a comprehensive suite of instruments tailored for the in-depth analysis and characterisation of nanoparticles, extracellular vesicles (EVs), and liposomes. Researchers working in the nano-environment can leverage our cutting-edge technologies to gain critical insights into their materials.

At the core of our service is the (opens in a new window)NanoSight NS300 Nanotracker system, which provides high-resolution visualisation and quantification of nanoparticles, offering precise measurements of size distribution and concentration.

For detailed phenotyping and subset analysis, our (opens in a new window)CytoFLEX S and (opens in a new window)CytoFLEX nano flow cytometers are ideal, enabling multi-parameter analysis of these nano-sized entities, even detecting very small particles.

When specific populations need to be isolated for downstream applications, our advanced cell sorters come into play: the (opens in a new window)CytoFLEX SRT offers highly accurate and efficient sorting of rare or specific nanoparticle/EV populations, while the (opens in a new window)AcouTrap acoustic sorter provides a gentle, label-free alternative for isolating sensitive biological nanoparticles, minimising potential damage and preserving their integrity. Together, these instruments provide a powerful and versatile platform for researchers to thoroughly characterise, analyse, and purify their nanomaterials, accelerating discoveries in fields ranging from drug delivery and diagnostics to fundamental biology.
