Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a powerful tool that enables scientists and clinicians to visualise specific proteins within cells and tissues, providing valuable information for diagnosis, treatment planning and research. Automated staining leads to robust, reproducible standardised conditions for antigen retrieval and staining increases specificity, stringency and signal amplification.

Expertise & Service

Our offering spans single colour chromogenic to 7 colour fluorescence on one tissue slide using (opens in a new window)Akoya whole slide staining kits with OPAL dyes. We can offer the combination of fluorescent in situ hybridization and immunofluorescence to reveal the expression pattern of RNA transcript targets and protein targets on the one tissue slide using (opens in a new window)RNAscope technology

Instruments

Leica Bond Rx
  • Process 30 slides per run, with onboard baking, dewaxing and antigen retrieval.
  • Three separate protocols can be run concurrently.
  • Advanced automation allows for multiplex IHC, multiplex IF, ISH/IHC, and FISH/IF protocols including techniques like RNAscope.
