New video about the CRM Applications System

The University CRM project team has created a short introductory video about the new Applications system.

The video is constructed in a Q&A format, taking the viewer through:

* What is a CRM?
* What software is being used?
* What will be different about this system?
* Who will be using the new CRM Applications system?
* When will the system be available?
* When can I get training on the new system?
* How does this fit together with the Recruitment and Marketing elements of the CRM?

Information Roadshows in April and May

The University CRM Project team would like to give you the opportunity to come and meet us. At these sessions we will deliver a project update and explain key information about the CRM Applications system that will go live in October. There will also be plenty of time set aside to answer any questions you may have.

We’d be delighted to see you at one of our short one-hour information roadshow sessions in April and May. We’ll be running two in person and two online.

The dates are as follows:

* Monday 29 April, 12:00pm, Online via Zoom

Peter McKiernan - People in Focus

Peter McKiernan, Head of CRM Technologies with the project team, is one of the colleagues interviewed in the March edition of ‘People in Focus’.

Peter has 27 years of experience working at UCD, and his thoughtful perspective on the CRM project gives great insight into the work involved.

Configuration and Build 12Jan
Next project Phase underway

With our detailed project implementation plan developed, we are ready to move to the next phase of Configuration and Integration. This is where we build the system to the requirements of its users and ensure it aligns with other UCD systems. This phase will commence in January and is due to be completed by May.

Planning for training on the CRM is underway, with customised training pathways to be developed on the basis of individual and team needs.

University CRM training will be delivered via In-person introductory workshops; drop-in clinics for queries and knowledge sharing; self-paced eLearning; Microlearning - short and succinct 'how to' resources; In-app walkthrough training to guide users through processes, step-by-step, in real time.

Development of this training content provides an excellent opportunity for user groups to incorporate their own content in order to standardize business processes or provide guidelines on best practice. We are working with colleagues to do this.

The CRM Project Team featured in UCD Agile's December Newsletter.

In the 'One thing you need to know' part of the newsletter, the piece introduced the team and highlighted key aspects of the University CRM project, highlighting in particular our 'Monday Minute' regular project updates. These short 60 second videos are designed to ensure that people can keep up to date with what's happening in a quick and accessible way.
