Project outline:The extent to which children experience chronic pain and conceptualise bodily pain is uncertain. This programme of research will i) investigate and measure the prevalence, 1-year incidence and impact of chronic pain in children in Central Switzerland, ii) investigate and measure children’s conceptualisation of pain and how well this aligns with our contemporary understanding of pain, iii) adapt, implement and evaluate a pain science education intervention for children in Central Switzerland.
