UCD CVERA has produced and contributed to a wide variety of reports. These include the Biennial Report series (2004 to date), The Selected Papers series (1990-2004) and other reports on specific issues relating to animal health and welfare in Ireland.

Biennial Reports

The Biennial Report is released every two years. The Report provides details of ongoing or completed work conducted by, or in association with, staff from The UCD Centre for Veterinary Epidemiology and Risk Analysis (UCD CVERA) and The TB Diagnostics and Immunology Research Laboratory during the previous two years.

UCD CVERA Strategic Plan 2024-2027

During 2023, a strategic review of CVERA was conducted in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine and other principal stakeholders. As a result of the review, CVERA developed clearly defined strategic goals, objectives and expected outcomes for the medium term. These are presented in the CVERA Strategic Plan 2024-2027. Four main strategic themes were identified including: strategic leadership and impact, scientific excellence, communications and engagement, and organisational effectiveness.

UCD CVERA Statement of Strategy 2017-20

During 2017, a strategic review of CVERA was conducted in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine and other principal stakeholders. As a result of the review, CVERA developed clearly defined strategic goals, objectives and expected outcomes for the medium term. These are presented in the CVERA Statement of Strategy 2017-20. Three priority areas were identified for immediate action, including the establishment of an independent management board, the introduction of systems to improve task management within CVERA, and a communications plan.

Between 1990 and 2004, UCD CVERA published the Selected Papers either annually or biennially. The Selected Papers cover a wide range of issues relating to bovine tuberculosis, brucellosis, Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) and are an invaluable insight into UCD CVERA's research from 1990 to 2004.
