“Public Health, Markets, and Law” Symposium, The Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics, Cambridge University Press, September 2025

The Journal of the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics has published the (opens in a new window)‘Public Health, Markets and Law’ symposium, which explores the complex intersections between public health, market dynamics, and legal frameworks. Guest edited by Mina Hosseini and Imelda Maher from University College Dublin, UCD Sutherland School of Law, this collection emerged from their two international workshops funded by the EU’s MSCA COMPHACRISIS project and UCD Sutherland School of Law. These workshops brought together a diverse range of experts from various backgrounds and career stages, including public health, business, sociology, law, and ethics, enabling us to view public health problems from different perspectives and uncover relationships that may not be apparent when viewed through a single lens.
