Tufted Duck

Tufted Duck | Aythya fuligula | Lacha Bhádanach

If you can’t spot one bobbing on the lake, they might just be swimming underneath the waters surface.  See if you can spot some bubbles, which might give away their spot.  The males and females look different, and both can be seen on UCD ponds year round.
