At the launch on 16 April 2012, the Minister also acknowledged the important role that the doctoral programme in clinical psychology at University College Dublin has played in training clinical psychologists for the Irish health service.

Professor Alan Carr the author of both publications is director of clinical psychology training at the UCD School of Psychology, University College Dublin.
