UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research is Ireland's premier bioscience institute. From early adoption of predictive modelling to pioneering new 'omics' research and technology, the Institute has been a driving force at the frontier of biomedical science, finding creative solutions for exploring, understanding and developing new treatments for human diseases.

Building progress together
UCD and the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) have been strengthening ties, particularly with a formal partnership with Northeastern University, to solidify transatlantic collaboration with a special focus on Biologics and Advanced Manufacturing. With the new Cell and Gene Therapy medicines research centre at NIBRT's UCD-based facility and funded collaborations already in the pipeline, the relationship is set to yield strong progress in the drug development space.
