Multi Sport Camps Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

  • UCD Sport Facilities part of University College Dublin
  • Payment is considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions
  • No provisional bookings will be taken. Places can only be secured on receipt of a completed online process and payment.
  • Places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The youngest age category is age 5 and the oldest age category is 12. Children must be aged 5 or turn 5 during the week they are booked in to camp in order to participate
  • Children can only be booked in to their own age category. Children that are older or younger than the category booked will have to have their booking cancelled
  • Information on activities is given in good faith. All arrangements and activities are subject to change depending on weather conditions, programme schedule and other arrangements. UCD Sport Facilities have the right to cancel, amend or alter activities accordingly 
  • The hours of the Multi-Sport Camp are 9am- 2pm each day
  • The parent/guardian must make provisions for the collection of children. UCD Sport Facilities can not accept responsibility for the care of children outside of the designated hours
  • Children must bring a packed lunch, water, rain gear and sun cream each day. Please ensure that sun cream is applied before coming to Multi-Sport Camp. 
  • By making a booking you agree that UCD Sport Facilities Multi-Sport Camp staff may apply sunscreen to your child’s face, head and neck areas if they require assistance.
  • All valuables must be left at home.
  • Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permitted and must be left at home and are subject to confiscation if used on during camps.
  • UCD Sport Facilities must be informed if your child has any allergies, dietary requirements or health/medical problems that may require special consideration or make them more susceptible to injury or illness during Multi-Sport Camp on the booking form.  If your child needs to take any medicine during Multi Sport Camp the parent/guardian must complete a ‘Medicine Consent Form’ and email it to the Camp Coordinator (opens in a new window)camps@ucd.ie before the Thursday prior to commencing Multi Sport Camp.
  • If a child is unwell they must not attend the Multi Sport Camp.  A parent/guardian will be contacted if their child becomes unwell during Multi Sport Camp and they must arrange for their immediate collection.
  • UCD Sport Facilities reserve the right to decline a booking on the basis that they may not be able to cater for your child’s particular needs on the advice of medical and other professional staff as required and taking into account the staff profile, the childs ability to cope with the program and the effect of the childs needs on staff and other children.  All children attending the camp must be able to self-manage their condition
  • UCD Sport Facilities is under no obligation to keep lost property. 
  • Under no circumstances will your child be released to another person for collection, unless prior verbal/written permission is given to Multi-Sport Camp staff by the child’s parent/guardian.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • UCD Sport Facilities reserves the right to cancel part of/or the entire programme with all payments refunded.
  • A full refund may be offered on medical grounds once a medical certificate is provided.
  • Cancellations received with a 14-day notice period or more will receive a refund of all fees paid minus a €50 admin fee.
  • Cancellations received with less than a 14-day notice are strictly non-refundable.
  • UCD Sport Facilities reserves the right to suspend any child that is disruptive to the Multi-Sport Camp due to misbehaviour or whose behaviour puts them or others at risk.

Data Protection

  • Your and your child’s data shall be stored and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and in accordance with UCD Sport Facilities Privacy Statement (Campus Sport & Leisure Limited Privacy Notice)
  • UCD Sport Facilities shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property or for personal injury or death arises from the willful act, neglect or negligence of UCD Sport Facilities or their staff
  • Photographic or video images of your child may be taken and used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish images of your child to be used, please inform UCD Sport Facilities at the time of the booking.

Rule Breach

  • The Facilities Rules must be observed and complied with at all times
  • Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in the cancellation of a booking
