Dublin Simon Appeal Thank You
€1,875 worth of vouchers donated to support those sleeping rough at Christmas.
UCD in the Community would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all members of the UCD community who generously supported this year’s Dublin Simon Voucher Appeal. Your kindness and generosity continue to make a real difference to those experiencing homelessness, particularly at Christmas time.
Together with the Transition Year students from Presentation College Terenure, as part of their Localise Youth volunteering programme, €1,875 worth of vouchers were donated to the appeal. The vouchers, along with handmade Christmas cards created by the students, were handed over to the Dublin Simon Community Outreach Team on 18 December 2025.
These vouchers were used by people sleeping rough to purchase essential items, food and clothing of their choice, helping to restore a sense of dignity and comfort during the festive season.
