New CPD certificate in, Children and Youth Information Services.
For information professionals who are considering CPD options this year, we are pleased to announce that our advanced module
IS40570 Children and Youth Information Services, taught by Dr Jean Henefer, has recently been approved by the LAI as an accredited CPD course.
The module will run in the School of Information & Communication Studies, UCD, from 4-6 pm every Tuesday from September 11 to November 27 2018. The cost of taking this module is €400 (€200 unwaged). Certificates will be issued by the LAI for course attendance.
This module is aimed at information professionals and para-professionals interested in children and youth services. The module offers students an opportunity to learn about, engage and reflect upon the spectrum of themes and issues, both practical and theoretical, related to providing information support to children and young adults and the work they may undertake in their current/future careers.
