NovaUCD Open Morning

NovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre at UCD is holding an Open Morning on Tuesday March 23 as part of the 2010 Dun-Laoghaire-Rathdown Enterprise Week.

Keeping positive about business and start-up growth is the upbeat message from Irish business leaders and support organisations, including NovaUCD, who are involved with this Enterprise Week, Dublin's largest pro-enterprise initiative.

The Enterprise Week features 5-days of activities (March 22 - March 26) taking place in various locations throughout the county. The week is aimed at entrepreneurs, micro-enterprises, the recently unemployed and other people thinking of setting up a business. A busy calendar of events includes innovation and e-Business seminars, networking evenings, open days and idea generation talks.  An estimated 2,000 people are expected to attend the fourteen scheduled events, most of which are completely free of charge.

The aim of the NovaUCD Open Morning is to give budding high-tech entrepreneurs an opportunity to drop into NovaUCD, to discover the unique services, supports and facilities available and to meet members of NovaUCD's successful community of entrepreneurs.

The guest speaker at the NovaUCD Open Morning will be Ray Nolan, founder of Web Reservations International and Worky.com who will deliver a lunchtime NovaUCD 'Entrepreneurs Live!' seminar.
