Applying to UCD

Welcome to UCD’s applications system for graduate students and other non-CAO applicants. In order to create an application, or to view an application that you have already made, please click below.

New users must register before using the system for the first time. You'll find step-by-step instructions on how to apply in our interactive guide and video tutorial. Registered users can return to the secure system using the email supplied when registering. If you are a current UCD student, please use your UCD student number (the system will pre-populate your personal details).

Immigration Requirements
Under immigration regulations, all non-EU/EEA students must be registered to a full-time programme.

Non-EU applicants for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes must apply using the applications system. Sign in or create a new account.

Undergraduate EU applicants should visit Undergraduate Admissions for more information regarding undergraduate programmes and application procedures. Applicants should normally apply via the Central Applications Office.

Transfer (post-initial)/Re-admission applicants for undergraduate programmes must apply using the applications system. Sign in or create a new account using the links above. Non-EU applicants should normally apply to stage 1 and if successful may be eligible to seek exemptions. For more information regarding Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) please see the RPL policy.

Postgraduate Applications Centre

Applications for the

  • Professional Master's in Education and the
  • Gradudate Diploma in Nursing (Public Health)

must be made through the Postgraduate Application Centre (PAC).
