Postgraduate Development

The school offers a range of postgraduate modules listed below for PhD researchers and research MSc students. These modules are based on the competencies outlined in the Irish Universities Associations (opens in a new window)PhD Skills Statement

Each module is 3 days in length, has an assignment component and is worth 5 ECTS. Modules are designed to use a variety of teaching techniques, lecture and workshop format, to enable researchers to identify their competencies and areas for development in their research and also with a view to their future career choice.

All modules will be delivered on UCD Belfield campus, venues to be confirmed. Students wishing to register for these modules should contact the graduate administrator in their school or programme office for a registration form.
