UCD Architecture

Welcome to one of the foremost Schools of Architecture in Ireland, where students learn to become future innovators, leaders and professionals in the design and care of the built environment.

UCD Architecture prepares students to be ethical, skilled and thoughtful future practitioners, able to adapt to the changing architecture profession and construction ecosystem as it embraces climate resilience. We imagine and design together for a post-carbon future. The culture of the School, the oldest one in Ireland, is grounded in the design of places for people, informed by history and context, supported by data and evolving best practice.

UCD Architecture is the only triple-accredited Architecture programme in Ireland. It offers a complete pathway to becoming a professional architect. This pathway begins in the 3-year Bachelor of Architecture, progressing to the 2-year Master of Architecture and concludes with a Professional Diploma.
Along the way, you will be based in our dedicated Design Studios in Richview and learn from some of the leading practitioners and researchers in Ireland. Our programmes are uniquely accredited by the RIAI, RIBA and NAAB.
