UCD’s College of Health and Agricultural Science, in collaboration with One Health UCD, is delighted to host this year’s Universitas 21 SDG Student Workshop on 12 June 2025 on the topic of ‘One Health for Global Health’.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together undergraduate and postgraduate taught students studying at U21 Health Sciences Group member universities (such as UCD) to learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and stimulate interprofessional problem solving on global health case studies specially design for them.
The session will start with a series of talks from experts on the topic of One Health for Global Health.
Topics include:
- Cervical cancer elimination
- Global HIV epidemic: Achievements and Current Challenges in Treatment, Prevention and Cure
- Disability as an Issue in the University Sector - Insights from U21 Partners
- A One Health mindset
- One Health and Sustainable Development
- Biodiversity and Human Health
- Educating Public Health Leaders of the Future: A Global Health perspective through a One Health lens
Attendance is free and open to all staff, students and alumni from UCD.
