The Advance Centre was founded in 2020 by University College Dublin, IT Sligo, and TU Dublin and brings together academic experts and industry leaders from across the high-tech sector with the common goal of delivering a portfolio of accredited modules and courses (QQI Levels 6-9) addressing Irish industry’s future skills needs in the digital transformation arena.  

The Centre offers a range of accredited, cutting-edge and future ready qualifications with ample progression opportunities to Level 9 awards, in Digital Transformation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), ranging from modular study to certificate, diploma, full and part time degrees and master’s qualifications.

For upskilling professional learners, the Centre provides flexible, high quality, industry relevant, accredited courses delivered by the top STEM colleges in Ireland working in association with key industry and enterprise partners, thus providing exceptional learning and career opportunities to meet the needs of the future world of work.

A key goal of the Centre is to support upskilling professional learners seeking flexible study options alongside full-time students.
