Customs Window Technologies Shortlisted for Ireland Final of the 2025 KPMG Global Tech Innovator

KPMG Ireland has announced that (opens in a new window)Customs Window Technologies, a RegTech start-up headquartered at NexusUCD in Dublin, is among the seven start-ups shortlisted for the Ireland final of the (opens in a new window)2025 KPMG Global Tech Innovator competition.
The competition now in its fifth year, showcases the best of Ireland's emerging tech innovators across diverse sectors.
Customs Window founded in 2022 by Johnny Dunne and Brian Murphy has developed an intelligent customs automation platform that simplifies and manages the complex data requirements for EU and UK Ecommerce customs declarations.
Johnny Dunne, CEO and co-founder, Customs Window Technologies said, “It is a great honour to have been shortlisted for the Ireland final of the 2025 KPMG Global Tech innovator competition. We are delighted with the recognition from KPMG for what our fantastic team is executing on with our ambition to be the customs platform category leader on the global stage in the high growth eCommerce sector. We look forward to pitching in the Irish final.”
Last year the company closed a €800k seed funding round, led by private and EIIS investors, with the support of Enterprise Ireland HPSU funding, and it completed the inaugural AI Ecosystem Accelerator Programme delivered by NovaUCD in partnership with CeADAR, Ireland’s Centre for AI.
The six other shortlisted finalists in addition to Customs Window are; Akara, Altra, Dimply, Imvizar, Glitch and This is Penny.
The seven finalists were selected after evaluating a high volume of exceptional entries and they will now go on to pitch their innovations and growth ambitions to a panel of judges including, Jamie Heaslip, Strategic Growth lead for Stripe in Ireland and the UK; Peter Coppinger, Founder and CEO of Success.co and former co-founder and CEO of Teamwork.com; Debbie Rennick, General Partner, Act Venture Capital Limited; Aileen Hayes, Managing Director of Endeavor Ireland and Anna Scally, Partner, Head of Technology Media & Telecoms, KPMG Ireland and EMA.
The Irish winner will then advance to the Global Tech Innovator final in Lisbon in November. Additional prizes include representing Ireland on the global stage, receiving mentorship from KPMG professionals, and gaining access to exclusive networking events.
