Enterprise Architecture Alignment Checklist
The (opens in a new window)Enterprise Architecture Alignment Checklist is designed to assess how well proposed initiatives align with UCD EA Principles
- It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete
- For proposed Headline IT Projects it's a "Pre-Project" requirement
- The Solution Provider must engage with the EA Team to review the self assessment before the "EA Review Complete" checkbox in Section 2 of the Project Initiation Request (the Solution Proposal) can be ticked.
- For all other projects, the Project Manager undertakes the self assessment
- For all projects (including Headline) the checklist should be updated iteratively throughout the project lifecycle by the Project Manager to evidence alignment
- It is understood that some information may be unavailable during the early stages
- These gaps should be resolved as the solution design matures
- For any Initiatives or Projects being brought to the CCB for approvals (both "design and enabling works" and "go-live") - a copy of the checklist must be provided to evidence alignment with the EA Principles
