IT Services Disaster Recovery Day Saturday, 4 July 2026

As part of our commitment to service resilience and continuity, IT Services will be conducting this year’s Disaster Recovery (DR) Day on Saturday, 4 July 2026, between 06:00 and 22:00.

This annual exercise is a critical component of our preparedness strategy, allowing us to test and validate the robustness of our systems against potential disruptions such as cyber incidents, natural disasters, or hardware failures.

This necessary work carries a high risk of disruption to a wide range of IT services (including core services such as wireless, staff file share, single sign on, networks services, business systems, data centre storage and hosting) therefore ALL IT systems and services are at risk and may be temporarily unavailable during this time.

We strongly recommend that you plan accordingly and avoid scheduling any critical IT-dependent activities during this period.
