Peer Review

Overview

Overview

Peer review is a collaborative learning process where students give and receive feedback on each other’s work. This process helps you reflect on your own work, improve your critical thinking, and gain new perspectives from your peers.

New for 2025/26: Following an evaluation process, UCD has selected FeedbackFruits as our peer review tool in Brightspace, replacing peerScholar. FeedbackFruits supports both Peer Review and Group Member Evaluation activities, depending on how your instructor has set up your module.

Key Features

Key Features

  • Submit your work easily: Upload documents, images, audio, or video depending on what your instructor allows.
  • Review your peers’ work: Give structured, constructive feedback guided by rubrics or questions.
  • Receive feedback on your work: Learn what peers found effective and where you can improve.
  • Reflect on your learning: Use the feedback to revise your work or think about how you might improve in future.
  • Engage fairly and honestly: Reviews may be anonymous (using pseudonyms), depending on how your instructor has set it up.
