Professor Paddy Mallon and Professor Peter Doran, UCD School of Medicine, Professor Wim Meijer, UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science and Associate Professor John O'Sullivan, UCD School of Civil Engineering, along with researchers from NUI Galway, TCD, UCC, University of Limerick and Teagasc, have won €182,348 from Science Foundation Ireland for a project titled Multi-site study to develop a SARS-CoV-2 Infection Surveillance System for Third Level Students and Staff in Republic of Ireland (UniCoV). The project is led by Professor Breda Smyth, Personal Professor of Public Health Medicine, NUI Galway and Director of Public Helath Medicine, HSE West. Read more here.
