UCD Gender Pay Gap Report 2025
UCD is proud to publish the 2025 edition of our Gender Pay Gap Report, which provides a comprehensive analysis of pay differences between male and female employees and reflects our continued commitment to equality, transparency, and inclusion.
This year’s report shows further meaningful progress, with the Gender Pay Gap narrowing once again. The mean gender pay gap now stands at 6.77%, and the median at 5.86% for all UCD employees (excluding hourly paid workers). These improvements continue a positive trend since 2021 and demonstrate the impact of sustained actions under UCD’s Gender Equality Action Plan.
The 2025 report offers detailed analysis of gender pay across academic, professional and support, research, temporary, and part-time roles, and also presents longer-term trends to help us understand where progress is strongest and where further action is needed. By comparing results with previous years, we gain valuable insights into the effectiveness of our initiatives and the areas where ongoing focus will be most beneficial. UCD remains firmly committed to reducing the gap between men’s and women’s pay and to creating a fair and inclusive, workplace for all. Our Gender Equality Action Plan 2024–2029 provides a clear, data-driven roadmap to guide this work, with targeted measures aimed at improving representation, supporting career progression, and promoting transparency at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
