Challenging traditional ways of thinking!!
The UCD MA and Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies, offer students an opportunity to interrogate the complexity of gender, feminism, identities and equality in a rapidly evolving social world.
We look at the ways in which gender, social class, ethnicity and disability intersect within a global context of institutional racism, environmental degradation and increasing inequality.
Our programmes explore current debates on gender and social change and aim to achieve gender justice and social solidarity at local and global levels

Heather Hartwick - Graduate
"My advice to other international students considering the MA in Gender Studies is: do it! You will never regret it. This is a once in a lifetime experience. I loved the staff in the School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice; they have been more than helpful and caring. My professors and colleagues have made me feel at home and like I have a network of people to call on if any issues arose, personal or professional. Studying in UCD has offered me such a different dimension of understanding that I would never have experienced attending a university in my native country."
