UCD Volunteer Day

Providing volunteering opportunities for the UCD community.

UCD Volunteer Day is an annual event which happens in the O'Brien Centre for Science. Bringing together a cross section of society, connecting communities and promoting volunteering opportunities, it is a great way for UCD students, staff and alumni to connect and find volunteer opportunities to suit the individual or the organisation. There are various events that take place across campus throughout the day and it is a great way for anyone interested in volunteering to find out more information and get involved. Each year, in collaboration with other UCD partners, students can choose from various workshops to attend. The UCD Careers Network provide a workshop on how students can use volunteering to further their career, including what potential employers look for in graduates and how you can include the skills you have learned through volunteering to further your career prospects.

There is always an exciting atmposphere around the Fair and the feedback from the visiting organisations is always positive.
