Woodland Walk

Explore the wonderful woodlands of the UCD Belfield Campus with a guided tour from Ciaran Beattie (UCD Buildings and Services) on Tuesday 10th September.

Tea, coffee and pastries will be served in the UCD University Club Bar for all attendees from 10.30am and the walk will commence from 11am.

Tour of the Chester Beatty Library

Join us on Tuesday 17th September for an immersive tour of the Chester Beatty Library. We will meet at the location at 11am in preparation for our tour at 11.30am.

Described by Lonely Planet as ‘not just the best museum in Ireland but one of the best in Europe’, the Chester Beatty is the pre-eminent Irish museum promoting the appreciation and understanding of world cultures with holdings of manuscripts, rare books, and other treasures from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

SPEAKER SESSIONS: Garden Trends with Vandra Costello

The UCD University Club introduces our new event series, Speaker Sessions. In our first event, we welcome Vandra Costello on Tuesday 24th September at 12pm to talk about Garden Trends while you enjoy an Express Lunch in the UCD University Club Restaurant. This event will cost €20, with a non-refundable deposit of €5 required prior to the event.

Vandra Costello has taught courses on garden history at University College Dublin, University of Ulster and University of Limerick. She has published articles on topics in Irish garden history between the 17th and 19th centuries and is the garden editor of Image Living & Interiors magazine.
