Training for UniShare

How will the training be delivered?

UniShare training can be delivered in-person or via Zoom.

How long will the training take?

UniShare training will take 1 hour

What you or your team will gain from attending the training

Upon completion of the training you will know how to navigate the various UniShare screens, how to begin to use UniShare to support your students, and how to access the UniShare data generated by you and your team.

In the  introductory UniShare training session we will cover

  • How to record interactions on UniShare in different ways, namely:
    • Quick Tasks
    • Contact Records
    • Bulk Upload
  • We will show you how UniShare can act as a window into a students record through the use of features like:
    • Search
    • Academic Information
    • Degree Information
    • Grade Related Information
    • Scholarships and Awards
  • How you can view the previous interactions a student has had with colleagues via the:
    • Student’s Contact History
    • The Communications and Contacts report
  • How you can use UniShare to remind you to follow up with a student
  • How UniShare can be used to refer a student case between individuals or offices
  • How through UniShare Reporting you can access the UniShare data generated by both you and your team, and how this in turn can be used for planning etc.

Training for Wufoo 

In this introductory session to Wufoo we covered 

  • Basic Form Creation & Adding Fields

We covered how to create a new form, change a form’s name, edit it, add fields and edit those fields. We spoke about field types (Address, Email, Website, etc.) Wufoo have a comprehensive page detailing how to Build/ a Form

  • In general, your form will contain the following fields at minimum: 
  • Student Name • Student Number • Email • Nature of Query and • Query
  • Creating Rules  

We then spoke about the rules that make the Contact forms dynamic and intuitive. There are multiple rules you can apply to your forms, Field Rules, Page Rules, and Form Rules. For the introductory session we focused on Field Rules.

  • Entry Notifications 
  • Submission Confirmation 
  • Confirmation Emails
