UCD EGA Spring Lecture 2018

The annual EGA Spring Lecture took place on Thursday April 19th 2018 in UCD, Belfield. Dr Dervilla Mitchell, Chair of UKMEA ARUP, in conjunction with Dr Francesco Pilla, UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy gave this year's lecture entitled, 'The Changing face of Engineering'. UCD EGA Gold Medal Ceremony 2017

This year's EGA Gold Medal Ceremony took place on Monday 4th September 2017. This year a total of 24 students received awards in their respective disciplines. We would like to thank all those who attended including representatives of the various sponsors without whom this Ceremony could not take place each year. Congratulations to all of this year's award recipients.

EGA Distinguished Graduate Award Ceremony 2017

The EGA Distinguished Graduate Award recognises a UCD graduate in active service who is making an outstanding contribution to Irish Society. This contribution can be in the fields of Public Policy Development or in Entrepreneurship, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Research Innovation or Job Creation with a strong public profile who can act as a role model for young members of the profession.

Congratulations to Mr Pat O'Doherty, ESB Chief Executive and recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Graduate Award.

UCD EGA Spring Panel Discussion 2017

The UCD Engineering Graduates Association were delighted this year to welcome a panel of national and international experts to deliver the EGA's Annual Spring Panel Discussion on “Autonomous Vehicle Development – Technical, Ethical, Legal and Social Challenges”, on April 6th in the UCD Clinton Auditorium.
