UCD School of Psychology Ad Astra Fellows – Two Funded PhD Positions 2024

The UCD Ad Astra Fellowship scheme, an initiative launched in 2019, aims to promote the quality, quantity and impact of UCD research, scholarship and innovation. As part of this scheme UCD School of Psychology has two fully funded PhD positions on offer for excellent students.

PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience

This PhD will investigate neurobiological mechanisms of cognitive resilience in ageing and will be based at the (opens in a new window)Cognitive and Translational Neuroscience UCD lab under the supervision of Dr Méadhbh Brosnan. Click here for more further information and application details.

PhD in Educational Neuroscience

This PhD will investigate the role of spatial cognition in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and will be based at the at the (opens in a new window)Cognition, Development and Learning Lab under the supervision of Dr. Katie Gilligan-Lee.
