EMEP

The European Monitoring and Evaluating Programme ((opens in a new window)EMEP) is a co-operative programme for monitoring and evaluating the long-range transmission of air pollutants in Europe. Annually national emission inventories are reported under EMEP, from which international concentration and deposition models are generated. The generated ammonia concentration and total nitrogen deposition data generated under this programme for Ireland in 2018 are available below.
