International pot luck
Thursday, 5 December, 2024

The School of Chemical Engineering hosted an EDI themed Christmas Party in the form of an international pot luck lunch to celebrate the festive season. The event brought together faculty, students, and staff from different backgrounds. It took place in the Engineering common room on the 5th of December and was a great celebration of the School's commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of our community.
All the dishes represented the diverse culture and traditions of the attendees. From traditional holiday favourites to local specialties, everyone had a chance to share a bit of their culture while learning about new ones.
The lunch was a really positive event and was well attended. It demonstrated the value of inclusive events have in building a stronger and more connected community within the School. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to create inclusive spaces that celebrate our differences and bring us together throughout the coming year.
