On Friday 3rd of October, we gathered in the common room for a snug, autumn-tinged EDI coffee morning—made extra special by a still-warm, delicious apple pie that disappeared slice by slice. With a storm on the way, the room felt extra cozy: people swapped quick research updates, compared rain-ready routes home, and debated the perfect pie spice blend (team cinnamon vs. team nutmeg!).
