Information for Students
The official robemakers for UCD are Phelan Conan Ltd. Graduands may pre-book their robes using (opens in a new window)the online booking service.
Cost of robe hire is €45 when pre-booked or €50 on the day. The pre-booking service opens approximately 2 to 3 weeks before the date of the ceremony.

Information For Faculty
Academic staff gown hire is via the (opens in a new window)Phelan Conan online booking form.
The collection of gowns before the graduation ceremony for staff will take place upstairs in the Robing Room, O'Reilly Hall.
Please note: Book your academic staff gown for the December Ceremonies by Sunday, 26 November 2023.

For the convenience of UCD students, the University has competitively tendered for the provision of academic gowns. Students may choose to use gowns from alternative suppliers. Please ensure that you obtain the correct gown for your qualification.
