Quick Questions
When will the dates for next year be published?
- Dates for next set of ceremonies will be published towards the end of January each year.
When will I get my invitation?
- An invitation email will be sent to your UCD Connect email approximately three to four weeks before the ceremony date.
What should I do if I have not received an invitation?
- If you have not received an invitation email, we recommend that you check your SISWeb to see if you have passed all of your modules or if you have any holds on your account. If you have passed and have no holds, please contact us.
Can I postpone my conferring?
- Postponement of your conferring is not permitted. Degrees must be conferred at the conferring ceremony immediately following the passing of the relevant examinations.
What happens if I cannot attend?
- Successful candidates who cannot attend on the day will have their degrees conferred in absentia and their scrolls will be posted to them after the conferring ceremony. Read more about graduating in absentia.
