CAMPEP Accreditation

The UCD MSc. in Medical Physics received provisional accreditation by CAMPEP's Graduate Education Programme Review Committee in August  2020 and, following a site visit in June 2021, was awarded full accreditation through December 31, 2024. Our MSc. will enhance your education in Medical Physics and help prepare you for a career in this exciting field. Specifically, our MSc. will help you prepare for the American Board of Radiology exams and allow you to apply to residency programmes requiring CAMPEP accreditation both in Ireland and North America.  

Our CAMPEP-accredited Graduate Diploma in Medical Physics is aimed at PhD physics graduates who wish to obtain a CAMPEP-accredited qualification for accessing residency programmes. The taught content of this Graduate Diploma is the same as that of the MSc. (60 ECTS credits), but does not require the completion of a research project.
