Undergraduate Students

UCD offers a range of engineering degree programmes to meet your needs. Starting from a common Engineering first year, you can advance to a three-year BSc, four-year BE or five-year ME degree.
The BE is available in eight specialised areas, and there are more than ten Masters degrees – all accessed through the common first year.
Our degree programmes are of the highest quality, and have served as the springboard to success worldwide for generations of our graduates.

Postgraduate Students

We offer a range of taught Masters degrees, research Masters and PhDs designed in response to new European standards for professional Engineering education.
UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has a proud record of excellence and achievement in postgraduate education and PhD-level research. Based on our success in winning grants from major funding agencies, we are generally in a position to provide scholarships to outstanding students wishing to pursue graduate studies within the School. Much of our research is carried out in strong partnership with leading-edge industry and is also located within a strong web of collaborations with international academic and industry-based centres of excellence. Our research outputs are not only of high academic quality, but they also have had high impact in terms of innovation, including an excellent track record of successful new company formation.
