What is the IT Services Maintenance Window:
In order to ensure that the University's IT systems are working correctly and running optimally, UCD IT Services undertakes a schedule of routine maintenance and updates across all systems.
Most of this work is scheduled within our weekly routine Maintenance Window, every Tuesday between 17:00 and 19:00. While every effort is put in place to ensure IT systems remain available, it is important to note due during this time, all IT systems are considered At Risk.
All work that has a high risk of impact to users, will have a supporting Service Announcement posted that describes the work, the schedule, and the impact.
Larger planned work and specific upgrades may be scheduled outside of the routine maintenance window.
