Manuel Lozano Garcia

Manuel Lozano García is a Post-doctoral Researcher with the Neuromuscular Systems group. His research is part of the Multi-Domain Lifestyle Targets for improving Prognosis in Huntington’s Disease project (DOMINO-HD). He applies signal processing and machine learning techniques to accelerometry data to quantify gait parameters in patients with Huntington’s disease, aiming to assess levels of physical activity using wearable devices in these patients. Manuel holds a BEng (Hons) in Telecommunications Engineering, and a MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering, all from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), Spain. He also holds a MSc in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Spain.
