Public Health Programmes

  

Public Health is a multidisciplinary area, bringing together expertise from medicine and the broader clinical sciences, biological and environmental sciences, nutrition and dietetics, epidemiology, biostatistics, and the social and psychological sciences. Our goal is to maintain, improve, and protect the health and well-being of the population.

Our areas of teaching and research encompass health service development, food safety, infectious disease, chronic disease, dietetics, nutrional and genetic epidemiology, health and the environment, social medicine, and the life-course of health and disease.
